Who wants to know what?

Who is Ian Hanks?
Please respect that I will not reveal too much about my identity. All I am willing to say is that I was born in 1974, grew up in a rural area and am living in the Netherlands (... which would mean: In Europe!!!)

I think growing up in a small village during the 80´s had its share in my illustrating career. No internet back then. Best a shy gay boy could get were some sunmilk ads and comic books with semi-nude men. What did gay men do? What did it look like? As there was no visual material available, certainly not as easily and in abundance as after the worldwide web cicked in I had to create what I wanted to look at. I was pretty young when I realized naked men fascinated me. Didn´t take long to get out the pencils and daw more, more and even more!

I think the variety of my illustrations gives a pretty clear idea of what turns me on, which does not mean that I have any intention to get involved or have been involved in anything violent, personally (and don´t you forget the condoms, boys!). It´s just a thrill to me to see cuties in tight spots, maybe because so many of the hot cuties I would want wouldn´t give gay sex a shot ever.

Where can I buy .... ?

So far there is little of my work available in print. No Ian Hanks gift-shop! There are some wild ideas, but all I can give you at this moment are the publications in handjobs and the GMPass sites. There are only few requests for individual works so far. If you are interested in something like a personal drawing feel free to ask, but please bear in mind: Time IS money!
