Welcome to the website of Ian Hanks and ...

... my sincerest apologies for the little trick-question at the entrance. Everytime I see a disclaimer I wonder if people actually bother to read it. Just couldn´t help it! The "wrong" link guides to a very good gay magazine, though: handjobs. Some of my illustrations (yes! New ones, too!!!) have been published in the handjobs magazine with its thrilling gay stories regularly since may 2006. Great stuff - so have a look anyway!

So far I have not had the time to move the old galleries which are protected with GMPass access to this new site, but ...

... there is new stuff! Everybody craving for some hot Ian Hanks boys on their computer may have a look at the wallpapers in the download section.

There also are some small samples of a comic I have been working on for the past months, first glimpses of several short stories in ancient Greece. These will soon be published. Question remains in what way. As soon as there is certainty - a deal signed with a publisher - you will find the news in bold letters on this site. Might be worth to bookmark by pressing CTRL + D)!!!

Further Breaking News:
German Publisher Bruno Gmünder celebrates its silver anniversary (25 years! Way to go!) with an amazing collection of gay art. Almost the entire Who is Who of the huge world of gay erotic illustrating is represented, to numerous to name all of them: Joe Philips, Patrick Fillion, Ralf König ...
So go get it! It´s a bargain!
And ... did I happen to mention that some of my work is in there, too!?

Might you find illustrations by me (Ian Hanks) on any other site I would appreciate a short message including a website URL (http:// ....). There are few sites who do display my work with my conscent.
Illustrating porn is nice but also very hard work. You can´t just take your camera and tell some stud to undress. Everything has to be created from ... white, innocent and unspoilt paper.

I guess this will be all for now.
Go browsing now and enjoy!
Yours,
